LoopCam

Terms of Use

The rules for LoopCam. By signing up, you agree to them. Last updated: November 2026.

1. Provider

LoopCam is operated by Devon Büsser, Unterdorf 19
8752 Näfels
Schweiz (Legal Notice). These terms apply to the app on iPhone, Android and the web.

2. Minimum age

You must be at least 16 years old to use LoopCam. Accounts belonging to younger people will be deleted.

3. Your account

You log in with your email address or phone number and a code. Keep access to them secure – anyone who has it can get into your account. An account belongs to one person. Don’t pretend to be someone else.

4. Zero tolerance

LoopCam does not tolerate objectionable or illegal content, or people who harass or abuse others. In particular, the following are not allowed:

Anyone who breaks these rules will be banned.

5. Reporting and blocking

You can report any clip or person and block people right in the app.

The operator reviews every report within 24 hours, removes content that breaks these rules and bans the people who uploaded it.

6. Your content

Your clips belong to you. So that LoopCam can work, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, non-transferable, free licence to store and process your clips (for example, to combine them into daily videos) and to show them to the people you share them with. This licence ends as soon as you delete a clip or your account.

You are responsible for your content and confirm that you are allowed to share it and that everyone who can be seen or heard in it has agreed.

7. Suspension and deletion by the operator

The operator may remove content and suspend or delete accounts if these terms or the law are broken, or if this is necessary to protect others – without prior warning if need be.

8. Deleting your account

You can leave LoopCam at any time and delete your account and all your clips right in the app under Settings. See Delete account for how it works.

9. LoopCam+

LoopCam is free. LoopCam+ is planned and will be offered as an in-app purchase through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Apple’s or Google’s terms also apply to the purchase. You’ll see the price, term and renewal in the store before you buy. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your store settings. Refunds are also handled by the store.

10. Availability

LoopCam is provided “as is”. The operator does their best to keep everything running but cannot guarantee constant availability or that no data will ever be lost. Features may change or be removed. It’s best to keep your own copy of important clips, for example using the data export.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator’s liability is excluded. This does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence (Art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations), or where mandatory law provides otherwise. The operator is not liable for content posted by other users.

12. Copyright

If content on LoopCam infringes your rights, write to [email protected]. Tell us which content it is, what rights you hold and how to reach you. The operator will review your complaint and remove the content if it is justified.

13. Privacy

How LoopCam handles your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes

The operator may update these terms. Changes will be announced in the app. If you keep using LoopCam afterwards, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account at any time.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Glarus, Switzerland. Mandatory consumer rights and places of jurisdiction remain unaffected.

These terms are available in German and English. The German version is binding.
