Delete your account

How to delete your LoopCam account and all your clips. This cannot be undone – export your data first if you want to keep anything.

In the app

Open LoopCam and tap your profile.
Tap the gear icon at the top (Settings).
Optional: tap “Export my data” to keep a copy.
Tap “Delete account” at the very bottom and confirm with “Delete”.

It works the same way in the web app. If your app is set to German, the buttons are labelled “Einstellungen”, “Meine Daten exportieren”, “Konto löschen” and “Löschen”.

By email

Can’t get into the app any more? Write to [email protected] from the email address you log in with and include your username. If you log in with your phone number, include the number. We may contact you to confirm the request. Your account will be deleted within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

your account, including your email address or phone number, username, display name and profile picture
all your clips, captions and daily videos
your reactions, friendships and group memberships
your settings, sessions and push tokens

Deleting in the app takes effect immediately. The data disappears from backups within 30 days at the latest. Reports others have made about you and server logs are deleted after the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.

If you have a LoopCam+ subscription, cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play settings.
